This is one of the most important subjects and topics that we as believers should understand. We are called to be Holy, which in Hebrew was Qodesh which means Set-Apart. This topic is so incredibly important so I want to make sure that the scriptures used are provided so that, everyone can understand better what YAH has to say on this topic. To be Holy, Qodesh, Set-Apart

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of Elohim, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”

1st Peter 2:9-10 

“You in Your mercy have led forth The people whom You have redeemed; 

You have guided them in Your strength To Your holy habitation.”

Exodus 15:13

And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ 

These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.” 

Exodus 19:6

And you shall be holy men to Me: you shall not eat meat torn by beasts in the field; 

you shall throw it to the dogs. 

Exodus 22:31

“And Moses said to Aaron, “This is what YAHUAH spoke, saying: ‘By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.’ ” 

So Aaron held his peace.” 

Leviticus 10:3 

“For I am YAHUAH your Elohim. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, 

and you shall be holy; for I am holy. 

Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 

Leviticus 11:44

“For I am YAHUAH who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your Elohim. 

You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.” 

Leviticus 11:45

“I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given some of his descendants to Molech, to defile My sanctuary and profane My holy name.”

 Leviticus 20:3

“Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am YAHUAH your Elohim. And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I am YAHUAH who sanctifies you.” 

Leviticus 20:7-8

“And you shall be holy to Me, for I YAHUAH am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.” 

Leviticus 20:26

““Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am YAHUAH. You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel. I am YAHUAH who sanctifies you, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your Elohim: I am YAHUAH.”” 

Leviticus 22:31-33  

“and that you may remember and do all My commandments, and be holy for your Elohim.” 

Numbers 15:40

““For you are a holy people to YAHUAH your Elohim; YAHUAH your Elohim has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.” 

Deuteronomy 7:6

“For you are a holy people to YAHUAH your Elohim, and YAHUAH has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.” 

Deuteronomy 14:2

“and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to YAHUAH your Elohim, just as He has spoken.”” 

Deuteronomy 26:19

““YAHUAH will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of YAHUAH your Elohim and walk in His ways.”

Deuteronomy 28:9

“For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, 

To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” 

Isaiah 57:15 

“And they shall call them The Holy People, The Redeemed of YAHUAH; 

And you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.” 

Isaiah 62:12

“Israel was holiness to YAHUAH, The firstfruits of His increase. 

All that devour him will offend; Disaster will come upon them,” says YAHUAH.’ ”” 

Jeremiah 2:3

“When they came to the nations, wherever they went, they profaned My holy name—when they said of them, ‘These are the people of YAHUAH, and yet they have gone out of His land.’” 

Ezekiel 36:20

“So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am YAHUAH, the Holy One in Israel.”

Ezekiel 39:7

“And He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever. No more shall the house of Israel defile My holy name, they nor their kings, by their harlotry or with the carcasses of their kings on their high places.” 

Ezekiel 43:7

“For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name.”

Psalms 33:21 

“Let them praise Your great and awesome name— He is holy.” 

Psalms 99:3

“Bless YAHUAH, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!” 

Psalms 103:1

“Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek YAHUAH!” 

Psalms 105:3

“In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.”

Matthew 6:9 

“For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name.”

Luke 1:49 

“just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, 

that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,” 

Ephesians 1:4

“that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.” 

Ephesians 5:27

“For a bishop must be blameless, as a steward of Elohim, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.”

Titus 1:7-9 

“but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 

because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”” 

1st Peter 1:15-16

““And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts,

Revelation 3:7

“He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.””

Saints – Qodeshim – Set-Apart Ones

“Oh, fear YAHUAH, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.” 

Psalms 34:9

“I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for My anger— Those who rejoice in My exaltation.””

Isaiah 13:3

“But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, 

and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.’” 

Daniel 7:18

“until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.” 

Daniel 7:22

“He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. 

Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time.” 

Daniel 7:25

“Then the kingdom and dominion, And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’” 

Daniel 7:27

“when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.” 

2nd Thessalonians 1:10

“Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?” 

1st Corinthians 6:1-2

“For Elohim is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.”

1st Corinthians 14:33

“To all who are in Rome, beloved of Elohim, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Adon Yahusha the Messiah.” 

Romans 1:7

“The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”” 

Revelation 11:18

“Here is the patience of the saints; 

here are those who keep the commandments of Elohim and the faith of Yahusha.”
