There has been a lot of misconceptions about what we believe here at truthunedited.com. Please review our statement of faith to  clarify what we believe.   We do not believe anything that you can not find the source through scripture and we do urge you to check for yourself.

1) We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and He died for our sins, so that on the day of judgment, as long as we continue to believe in Him, He will hold us as being right before God. From this belief we will escape the second death.

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

(I John 4:14, 15 NKJV)

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9,11-13 NKJV)

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.” ’ (Revelation 2:11 NKJV)

2)We believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the 3rd day. We believe fully in His resurrection. We believe our Father in Heaven has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, “Have you any food here?” So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And He took it and ate in their presence.” (Luke 24:36-43 NKJV)

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” (1st Peter 1:3-5 NKJV)

3)We believe the Holy Bible to be the true Word of God. We believe it to be written by man, inspired by the Holy Spirit.  We believe that the Holy Bible is used for total reproof and correction of one’s life.  All things must agree with what is in it.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (II Timothy 3:16, 17 NKJV)

4)We believe in total surrender of our lives and decisions unto God. Once we have accepted Him, we become born again, meaning our spirits are born again, not our body, or our soul, but our spirit. We now have access to the Holy Spirit who is our guide. This is the gift of Grace.

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. (I John 4:13 NKJV)

5)We believe in the Holy Trinity. God in three, The Father, The Son, & The Holy Spirit

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (Matthew 28:19 NKJV)

For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. (1 John 5:7 NKJV)

6)We believe we were all made to worship Him and be like Him, as we were made in His image.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:27 NKJV)

7)We believe that we do not live under the Law of Moses (The Old Covenant),  believers in salvation through Jesus Christ are all born again believers that live by the Grace of God.

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. (Romans 6:14 NKJV)

But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. (Romans 7:6 NKJV)

8)We believe we can not work our way into heaven or work our way to get God to work for us.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8, 9 NKJV)

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. (Romans 3:27, 28 NKJV)

9)We believe in being doers of the Word and not just hearers of the Word.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. (James 1:22-25 NKJV)

10)We believe that our true enemy is Satan (Lucifer, the devil) and his fallen angels

So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:9 NKJV)

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. (I Peter 5:8, 9 NKJV)

11)We believe that our true problem is not the actual man or woman themselves, but by the spirits, principalities or demons they currently have dwelling within.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:11-13 NKJV)

12)We believe we have victory over all demons, spirits, and principalities through faith in Christ.

And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” (Luke 10:18-20 NKJV)

13)We believe there are many false teachers amongst that don’t teach correct doctrine

For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. (Matthew 24:24 NKJV)

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. (Matthew 7:15 NKJV)

14)We do believe Jesus will save the church and will come back to finish the battle with Satan

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. (Matthew 24:36-39 NKJV)

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. (Revelation 20:1-3 NKJV)

15)We believe God will save true believers from the period when he tests the whole earth. The worst period of time the world has ever seen, The Great Tribulation.

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. (Revelation 3:10, 11 NKJV)

For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:21 NKJV)

16)We do believe in the rapture of the church. Being caught up with The Lord. The Lord saving and removing the church before The Great Tribulation.

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. (I Thessalonians 4:16-18 NKJV)

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (I Corinthians 15:51, 52 NKJV)

17)We do believe that we are living in the end times.

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was. (II Timothy 3:2-9 NKJV)

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:7-14 NKJV)

18)We do believe that you can lose your crown or salvation.

Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. (Revelation 3:11 NKJV)

19)We believe anyone who does not believe Jesus Christ came in the flesh and is the son of God, has the spirit of the Antichrist

By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. (I John 4:2, 3 NKJV)

20)We believe we should not be of this world. This means not conforming to the view and direction of soceity, but lining everything up with the Word & will of God. Renewing our mind on the things above

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2 NKJV)

If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. (John 15:18, 19 NKJV)

I have givens them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. (John 17:14-19 NKJV)

21)We believe that you should test the spirits that your dealing with are of God. Make sure they match up to our God.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (I John 4:1 NKJV)

22)We believe in Spiritual wisdom, understanding what spirit is of God and what’s of this world as you grow in His Word and trust, faith, & surrender  to Him.

However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. (I Corinthians 2:6-16 NKJV)

23)We believe that there will be a time that Satan will overcome this earth and people will believe in him and not God. God will harden hearts and send such delusion that they cannot find the truth. Satan will be defeated by God, but only those that truly believed will be saved from Gods judgement.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (II Thessalonians 2:7-12 NKJV)

24)We  believe our jobs as believers is to preach the gospel of Christ. Help save souls, help people break away bondage, and be a living testimony of the grace of God, so that people can easily find Him.

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. (II Timothy 4:1-5 NKJV)

Do you believe that speaking in tongues is the evidence of someone being filled (for the first time) with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2)?

Speaking in tongues is NOT required as evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit for the first time. Do all speak in tongues? No. All believers are not given the gift speaking in tongues. It is a gift of the Holy Spirit amonst other spiritual gifts that He gives as He wills for edifying the church. 1 Cor. 12:8-11;28-30.

Love your preaching. John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Sounds to me like you can’t lose salvation

What is the context of John 10:28? Jesus is explaining the difference between His followers and fans. His fans are in the stands cheering when the team does well. John Chapter 6 tells what happens to fans when the going gets tough. They leave. His followers hear His voice always and never leave His side. Remember the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10? Which was a follower and which was a fan?

Hello, I am very happy to see your belief statements on here but I do have a question on number 16. From my understanding The Great Tribulation was the 7 seals 7 trumpets 7 thunders which are a mystery and lastly the 7 vials. In the scripture you mentioned it says (i am paraphrasing) at the sound of the last trump that those who are alive and remain will be caught up. Is this last trump the same as the seventh trumpet in revelation?

    Bro, rethink the Trinity.
Pray and ask the Lord to reveal to you ….Matt 28:19 – what is the “name” of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit? What is His name? What is His son’s name (Proverbs 30:4).
You do a lot to break down the lies of “Christianity.” Know that the concept of “Trinity” is from that religion.
Elohim is not limited to three! “Elohim, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets.” (Heb 1:1).
    Consider the Truth.

It’s not that you can lose your salvation. Romans 8 explains that we can never be separated from God. The problem is that you can convince yourself that you are saved when you really aren’t. Many people think through mere belief that they will see eternal life with God. People are forgetting to make their election sure. They are also forgetting how many times Jesus said for them to “do not be deceived”. Just as there is a false christ, there is a false salvation. But we must make every effort to enter into the narrow door. Many will try (because they think they are saved) but will not be able to. Luke 13:24

Do you believe that the blacks are the true Hebrews. According to Revelation chapter 3 or 4 Jesus himself refers to those who call themselves jews but really are the Synagogue of Satan. Who are the real jews….studies show that these jews I. Israel right now are the fake jews and their DNA does not reflect that of our fore fathers Abraham Issac and Jacob. Who then are the real jews???

Hey Ed- I’d like to do the same. I think some of us here could do zoom sessions to get together as like minded believers and possibly even break bread together and give thanks together. Zoom is a great way to connect and doesn’t matter where you live to do so. I regularly meet on zoom with a brother that lives in Australia. Maybe Brother Charles can appoint a few of us here to do so and we could meet up on zoom. Thoughts?

I agree with all but a couple of points, 1 to be born again you must repent, be baptized and you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. This is what Jesus told John 3, Acts 2, 2There are not 3 persons in the God head only one. One Faith, one God and one Baptism. You understand so much but on these 2 points, you are off. Please take the time to reevaluate your stance on this. I know that your views on very thing else are on point and I truly love what you are saying and know that it is right.

Brother Charles, I recently found your videos on YouTube. I appreciate your research, hard work and how the video’s are scripturally based. They’re very well done and enlightening, thank you. I went to your website to learn more about your ministry. I read your “Statement of Faith”. At the top of the page in the first paragraph you say “We do not believe anything that you can not find the source through scripture and we do urge you to check for yourself.” Imagen my surprise when I read statement “5)We believe in the Holy Trinity. God in three, The Father, The Son, & The Holy Spirit”. The trinity is not scriptural, my research and understanding for the inducement for interpreting the essence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in a triune deity came from pagan worship and adopted by the early Church (Catholic). I don’t disagree that there is unity between YWHW, Yeshua and the Ruach Ha-kodesh, however the “Trinity” is not scriptural and was not taught by the apostles or Yeshua. You use Matthew 28:19 , as does the Church (Catholic) to make an argument for the trinity. However, it is my understanding that most if not all biblical scholars agree that Matthew 28:19 was not in the original manuscripts except for one Latin manuscript which was copied hundreds of years later (if my memory serves me was around 1300AD). Again, I’m not saying there is not unity between the three. However, I do believe as followers of Yeshua Hamashiach we need to be very careful what doctrines we teach, words we use and how the doctrines/words are defined. We need to stand on the Truth of Scripture (which I believe you do), which is why I’m surprised by statement 5. If you were to do a video on the trinity. I believe it would shine a light on the truth of the trinity, its history and that scripture would bear out the truth. I know this is a big ask because how busy you must be (I can only imagine) Again, thank you, for your discernment and insight in all your great videos. I will continue to follow your ministry.

I watched a couple of your videos and you’re right on point. I agree with 95% of your beliefs. You lost me on the trinity. 1 John 5:7-8 KJV is a bad translation. It is properly translated as The Spirit, the water and the blood. These 3 agree. Check out a Greek Interlinear Bible. Also read the words of Jesus in John 17th Chapter. There are numerous other scriptures that further identify Jesus as not equal to his father Jehovah. Although you eloquently explained the ways Satan has used the 3 God concept through history, the trinity is a last ditch effort from him to muddy up the truth concerning the one God Jehovah. Note in Matt 6:9, the first item mentioned in the model prayer. Other than that I appreciate your effort in explaining the history of religion.

Hi Ron, there is an incredible amount of information on your site, and even more work put into the creation of all the videos. And for that, as well as correctly identifying that the rapture is after the 5th Seal and prior to the 7th – I sincerely say – well done. I would like for us to speak if you are willing. After seminary in the late ’80s, ordination soon after, over the next 2 years following my first thesis on The Errors of the Calvinists & Arminians, and then holding several positions – including being recruited as a National Ministry Director – I was exposed early on to the horrors of what the ‘Protestant Church’ has become. And it’s almost as damning as the Catholic Church. And so I would like to discuss a few of the items listed in the statement of faith – and assuming you follow the basic principles of hermeneutical exegesis – how you arrived at them adhering to text, context, co-text, the 5 Solas, etc. In the interim, there is a short 5 min video that you could watch at – https://www.brighteon.com/dfb0dd27-83b8-44ab-bf80-87d1ba35c87c – as an introduction to one of the topics I would like to discuss. And since neither of us, being viewed and holding the position of ‘teacher’ (whether we like it or not, this site declares exactly that) – want to have any blood on our hands (Eze 3:18-22), and seeing how we will face the harsher judgement (Jam 3:1) – I trust you want your many followers to indeed be welcomed into heaven on that fateful day. I look forward to hopefully speaking with you soon. Yours in Christ, Timothy
