A lot of things you will read on this site may alarm you. It may put you on a defensive. You may start to say, it doesn’t matter, or “I know who I’m worshipping, so it doesn’t matter”. Or many other thoughts that will steer you to reject the information given. These thoughts are not pure and must be rejected by & through the blood of Jesus. We all must remember that we are to worship God in Truth & Spirit (John 4:24). We are not to practice the things of the abomination (Deuteronomy 18:9-13). We are to abstain from every form of evil & not quench the spirit (1 Thess. 5:19-21).
Also when we are taking part in practices that worship the enemy, regardless of whether we feel we are worshipping our God or not, we are still contributing to a massive amount of spiritual energy that changes things. Our acceptance to evil empowers the devil and allows him more access. It also in turn quenches the Holy Spirit.
You can not ignore this information. You can not continue on with your tradition & acceptance. By mixing the world in with God, we run the major risk of becoming “lukewarm” (Revelations 3:15). By accepting other doctrine and worshipping God in the way we want to, not the way He commands, we run the risk of not really worshipping the God we wanted. We run the risk of Him saying “I never knew you; depart from Me” (Matthew 7:21-23).
These are major risks and is not wished for anyone, but it is a reality for most. That’s why it’s crucial to fully renew your mind, live your life completely through the Word of God, test everything you accept & practice based on the Word, and do away with traditions that are not told for you to practice in the Word. If you are worshipping God wrong, IT DOES MATTER!!!
